FEES & PAYMENT INFORMATION

FEES

My fees are competitive based on my level of services, education and expertise:

  • Initial Evaluation: $250

  • Therapy Follow-up (Individual): $220

  • Therapy Follow-up (Couples): $175

  • Guest Speaking Engagements: $200/hour

  • Dr. Riggins does NOT provide forensic or custody evaluations.

  • Dr. Riggins does NOT provide medication or psychiatric services. I do not have a psychiatrist (MD) on my team.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

Payment must be made at the time of the office visit.  I accept payment by credit card (e.g., MasterCard, Visa, American Express). Your card and/or insurance information will be kept on a secure, HIPAA-complaint platform. For Texas residents I accept the following insurance: Aetna and Optum (and Optum subsidiaries).

INSURANCE

It is the client’s responsibility to pay any deductible, coinsurance or any other amount not covered by an insurance company. If your insurance provider is not included and you'd like to use a different payment option, please contact me and we can discuss your various options.

SUPER BILL

I can provide you with a “Super Bill”, which is a statement of services so that you may seek reimbursement from your insurance company independently. Insurance benefits vary in their reimbursement policy for psychological services, some insurance plans will reimburse the entire amount, some reimburse a portion, and some do not reimburse at all. I encourage you to check your specific benefit plan to determine if reimbursement is available and possible out-of-network benefits.

If, however, you are uninsured or choose to pay for your visit, you are responsible for the appointment charges.

** CANCELLATION POLICY**

 If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel via email (dr.riggins.pllc@outlook.com) at LEAST 24 business hours prior or missed appointment charges will accrue.
