  • What’s Included?
A psychological evaluation includes a clinical interview with the client and/or collateral contacts. Also included are standardized assessments that the client completes to provide an objective measure of certain behaviors, emotions, and possible symptoms. Cognitive assessment is not  included at this time.

Types of Assessment Measures

  • Behavior and Emotional Functioning
This can assess any specific symptoms the client may be experiencing such depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, and client’s personality. These assessments can provide clarity on the client and way in which they perceive themselves and the world around them.
  • Attention and Executive Functioning
This assesses how well the client can focus and if there are any concerns about inattention or hyperactivity. It can assess the client’s ability to stay on task, remain organized, shift attention, self-regulate, initiate or begin tasks independently. This measure can be given when there are concerns about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or any type of executive functioning difficulties.

Common Diagnostic Questions
